Senior Army Instructor Lieutenant Colonel O’Driscoll joined the JROTC program at Bellaire HS in August 2002. A retired Infantry officer, he served in various command and staff positions in Berlin, Germany, Ft. Benning, GA, West Point, NY, The Pentagon, Washington D.C., and Ft. Ord, CA. He retired from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY as the Associate Director of Admissions. He teaches the 3rd and 4th year cadets and is the coach of the Rifle Team.

Army Instructor First Sergeant (Ret.) Valcin came to Bellaire in August of 2010 and currently teaches the JROTC LET 2 class replacing Sergeant Major (Ret.) Franklin. She has served 20 years in the U.S. Army as a Human Resources Sergeant, a drill sergeant at Ft. Jackson, SC, then later was deployed to Afghanistan. She ended her career with the rank 1SG at Lackland Air Force Base before coming to Bellaire. She will coach the Service and Unserviced drill teams. |

Army Instructor Master Sergeant Ronnie G. Jefferson arrived at Bellaire in August 2010 replacing Sergeant First Class Thomas Debee. Sergeant Debee is currently pursuing a job relating to his Masters Degree. Master Sergeant Jefferson served in personnel positions at Battalion to Department of the Army level assignments. His most interesting assignment was with the Multinational Force and Observers located in Sinai, Egypt. He travelled throughout Egypt and Israel visiting historical sites that he read about in the Bible and history books. Master Sergeant is excited about being at Bellaire and has a desire to make a positive impact on the cadets. |
