Come join the fun! Be a Student Volunteer/Assistant at Cardinal Camp. Seeking outgoing Junior/Senior students in good academic standing with great school attendance. Applications are available on the Bellaire.Org website. Return completed forms to Ms. Hendryx, room 337, by May 16.

Young Xu has been selected to attend the National Chemistry Olympiad study program at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado in June. She scored extremely high on the National Chemistry Olympiad Examination last week. Only twenty high school chemistry students from throughout the United States will be participating in the program. Four students will be selected to represent the US in the international Chemistry Olympiad competition to be held in Budapest, Hungary in July. J. Wilkins (5/5)

Senior Exit Survey – gives us important data about students’ college plans, scholarships and grants received, and more! We need this data for our school profile and for evaluating the school’s effectiveness on all students’ plans for after high school. Athletic and Academic scholarships will automatically be tabulated with this feature.
12th - 21% Scholarships reported to date: over $4 million dollars!
PrepHQ has a resume maker for you to use in class, lists of scholarships for students in grades 9-12, lists of summer programs, an on-line news source – all for Bellaire High School students! (Teachers may gain access to all but the college organizer including the resume maker by using the username AND password “teacher”.)

BELLAIRE HIGH SCHOOL -Summer School
Bellaire High School Credit Recovery Program (non-tuition)
This program is for Bellaire students only. One full credit may be recovered.
Length of Term: The term will last 20 days, from June 5th thru July 3rd
Registration: Registration will be held on Friday, May 30th thru Tuesday, June 3rd from 8:00am until 1:00pm.
Students must show an approval form from their counselor stating what classes they are to be placed in. No student can register without the approval form.
Class times 1st period – 7:45am until 10:45 am.
2nd period –11:00am until 2:00 pm.

ATTENTION SENIORS: Senior dues have now increased to $100.00 for the sixth six weeks. Dues can be paid by check, money order, or cash. Checks or money orders are made payable to Bellaire High School. Senior dues can be paid in Mr. Monzon’s office, room 124, before school or during lunch.
