The Bellaire High School PTO produces and mails a newsletter to all BHS parents three times a year - the "Back to School", Fall, and Spring issues. "From the Cardinal's Nest" contains information from counselors, the PTO, the Principal, academic departments, sports news and calendars.

To improve the flow of information from the school to the parents, the Bellaire PTO President sends e-mail announcements to those who have joined the PTO and given an e-mail address.

The Parent Handbook was first published in 2004. The Handbook contains a wealth of information for parents about how the school works, how to contact the right person for questions and concerns, and how to get more involved.
Handbooks are curently available at the APs' offices, the Information Center,and the counselors' office.
The Handbook is also available online through the BHS Yahoo! Groups Website or the BHS website.
In Fall 2005 Handbooks will be distributed during Open House in August. They will be free to PTO members. For others there will be a nominal fee. There will also be a Spanish language version available.
