$1,000 Scholarships
Available for Six Graduating Seniors
Deadline is March 31, 2008
Five PTO Achievement Scholarships will be awarded., and one PTO Liberal Arts Scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who has enrolled in a Liberal Arts college. Selection is based on several possible factors including academic achievement, application essay, awards and honors received community service, financial need, school extra-curricular activities, work experience, and whether the student will be a first-generation college graduate.

Current Bellaire students who plan to study abroad (summer, one semester, or an entire year) before they graduate may apply for scholarship assistance from the PTO. The number of scholarships varies from year to year, but all qualified applications will be considered. Requirements may be downloaded here , the application form may be downloaded here, and the teacher recommendation form may be downloaded here. This information may also be found in the counselors office.
